Morning all. It's Friday folks. Yeay. It might be cold and grey outside, but who cares. The weekend starts here.
My new connection is very solid, hasn't dropped once yet but the speeds are very poor ?.Only moved around the corner and i'm still on the same exchange ?.Was very fast yesterday morning but has been rubbish since ?.Have to see what happens when it settles down as I've only been using it for a couple of days.
Got loads on in work today, not really looking forward to it but its got to be done I suppose ?.
Hope Brutal Legend turns up tomorrow, would make me very happy! Also hope the weather gets nicer, hate walking about town when it is raining!
Dark and cold this morning, but I'm staying inside. Nasty headache too, feel like going back to bed but too much to do. Doesn't help starting at 7am.
So, like in football, when the manager seems to have failed when matches are lost, unions should get rid of their representatives if a strike is looming and hire people who can actually manage proper negotiations.
The union agrees their needs to be job cuts, they just cant agree where and by how much.
Either way these strikes cause a lot of problems and will generally affect the workers in the end. Some more companies are ditching Royail Mail for other carriers.
I doubt anybody can really claim their job is identical to what they were told before hand. The nature of job interviews is that all parties lie about what they are getting. And working conditions are always changing.
