Morning/afternoon (for you guys),

3 days of working in the US left. I simply cannot eat any more, i havent felt hungry in over a week.

Hit happy hour in the local bar on Friday night. And since one of the bosses picked up the bill I was happier than most, with only 2 their Scottish guests not driving I sank the most. Angry Orchard cider is rather nice.

Went to Mall of America in Minneapolis on Saturday. Shopping malls arent really my sort of thing but this place is unbelievably huge. And with a surprisingly big theme park in the middle.

Yesterday my colleague and I went for a walk since walking is something we havent done any of. Really lovely day weather wise and the lakes are starting to melt now.

Morning.

Well I didn't expect snow this morning. Just a light sprinkling and no settling, but for 5 minutes there we actually had some snow.

Not a chance here chas, Mrs DL has a 'seasonal cull of coat hangers'! It's terrible to witness, as you suddenly realise that within 2 - 3 weeks you'll have no hangers for your clothes, but there's no stopping the culling :¬D

Ok ... mine seems to be HDMI cables! I bought a new one a few weeks ago knowing that I had some 'somewhere' ... and lo and behold, I found them yesterday ... all 5 of them :¬)

Int hoarding grate ... :¬D[/i]

I reckon cables are made by the same company that makes Stealth Bombers, 'cos you can't see them until it's too late.

Seems to be...

In a similar light, why is it that, despite EVERYTHING coming with a USB cable now, why have I never got enough?

Age pb ;¬) and 'unwittingly' ... I doubt it ;¬)

It's the 'umm might need this, so I'll keep it' syndrome! Especially 'cables'! I must have 2 drawers full of 'pc cables and connectors', just in case :¬)[/i]

Heh. Glad it's not just me with cables.[/i]

Got rid of two big boxes when I moved...
You just never know when that 10m VGA cable might come in useful...

Of course, the real question is, why is it that when I NEEDED a 2m serial printer cable, I couldn't find one of the 14 I had stashed away?
