We've not got our decs up yet, mainly because I'm too lazy to climb up into the loft and fish them out!
I say go for the Wii Emmie, you have your 360 for 'serious' gaming, this way you can leave the Wii for when you are feeling a little more casual.

lol, my mum put a tree up, but they are going away in a week or so, i will not be decorating any more than that!

From what I believe (and I guess that comes from Colin Wilson's research) is that poltergeists are actually an entity, but feed off of sexual energies - most documented cases involving young teenage girls have involved some sort of abuse at some stage in their lives. I think as a girl hits that age, I believe lots of energy is being generated, which can then feed the poltergeist. It may also be the reason why they feel relatively drained after sustained activity. As the girl matures, this energy is not so readily produced and therefore, the poltergeist cannot continue and moves on to another home.
Of course it could all be PK. Or rubbish.

It's true, scientists rarely want to touch a real haunting with barge pole. It's bonkers. I mean, everyone laughs at cryptozoology, but hasn't that thrown up some awesome findings (i.e. the kraken...oh look, we've discovered this sort of giant squid...).
I really recommend reading Coling Wilson's [I]Poltergeist: A study in a distructive haunting[/]. Fascinating read and it's interesting that his views change throughout, when different cases come to light, followed by a conclusion...a very interesting one...

We should be investigating on Friday night, my friends have told me that lights are actually being switched on and off, a guitar keeps strumming itself, the atmosphere has become very negative and there have been cases of the furniture rearranging itself. I'll tell you what I find and will more than likely post the pictures and report on my website.
Also it probably would make a good feature - "living with the unknown" - and getting them to write a blog about anything that happens.

Morning everyone, another chilly morning - but the rain has stopped for now.
Saw Christmas Carol last night in 3-d, really liked it. Everyone knows the story etc but it has that nice christmas spirit feel to it (of course). Jim Carrey puts on a great scrooge voice and i couldnt even really hear it is him most the time.
Anyway, only tuesday, but hopefully i can get some more AC2 in tonight before i see the GF.

However, it's all speculation anyway until someone can come up with a clear way of documenting and analysing these events scientifically. But for all their posturing and denial, no 'serious scientist' wants to go near what could be a 'real' haunting so we're back to square one.
