My brother tends to order cinema tickets online. It avoids queues, people and most of the hassle. We just stroll in, put a card in a machine, get our tickets and go in and watch a film.

Got through to the cinema eventually and just found out Odeon don't accept Orange Wednesdays for 3D films and Vue have sold out. Great.

I thought cinemas were trying to get more people in to them?

So spent ages on the phone and hate to think how much that cost all for nothing.

When did cinemas get so impersonal? I remember when you could phone up the cinema direct and get someone friendly on the phone, now it's all automated crap or wait 2 hours.

Ah well, another 2 items came today to put up in the kids room. Hopefully the last one and the matresses turn up early next week and we'll have it done for 6th Jan, so the kids can have it for the 3 kings (when the kids in Spain get their main presents).

Knowing Chris's desperation for women they will probably all be desperate too and forgive him anyway........but as with all women just keep bringing it up over and over again throughout the year :D

Ok, i've stumbled upon the jackpot. If I pick up about 20 girlfriends in the last 10 or so days before Christmas (hopefully avoiding their birthdays) i'll be able to get a few free presents :D Ok, sort of destroys the meaning of love, but i love games, so it can't all be bad. The problem is getting 20 girlfriends, i can't even get one at the moment ;D

Phew, just finished all the border around the walls of the kids rooms, what a job! Had to move all the built furniture to the middle and both of us went around and matched, tore, cut, swore and many other things.

The main thing that came out of it is the question "Why can't builders build straight walls and proper corners?"

Yeah, I watched that a few nights ago. It was okay. Those kind of films tend to feel the same as a lot of the others in that style.
