Morning. Woke up with a start at 5am after having a horrifc nightmare. I was involved in investigating a poltergeist case and can remember experiencing the physical aspects to the haunting in my dream. So detailed as well, I remember writing stuff down, the content of books I was reading in the dream and everything!

Didn't help the house warming up whilst trying to get back to sleep - house clunking with warming pipes, wind whistling in the room etc. Just didn't like the fact my phone started to act strangely as well. Still - would have made an excellent rival to Paranormal Activity if it were made into a film...

Only 3 times. Got me the Shotgun attachment though!

Only need 40 bullet penetration kills with the gun with FMJ and I am the FAL Master!

And DL, I never forget to buy the special women in my life something. Noth that there ever has been one at Christmas though... Will be very cautious though about what I buy - when I broke up with my ex, it was a few days after her birthday (actually think she held the relationship on that long to be honest) and went through the hassle and expense of finding the perfect gift for her for nothing!

Would I do it again? Yeah sure, why not? Just need to find Miss Right now :p

And it's at times like this I'm grateful that my girlfriend realises that i'm not exactly the most well off person in the world at the moment, so I got away with just the 2 PS3 games for her this christmas. Better start saving up for next christmas now :)

pb - I pretty much hate going to cinema now, myself. It's impractical, expensive and generally an unpleasant experience (which reminds me of my current internet problems with Sky, haha)

dav - I'm interested to know what games exactly sold you on the Wii, i've yet to play enough decent games to convince me that I'd spend any sort of time playing it.

Samnsung 19" TV is now my monitor upstairs as it didn't like the PC downstairs.

It's good to have it up here because I've got the 360 plugged in to it as well now, saves having to swap VGA leads all the time.

Will move the monitor downstairs when there's space from Christmas rubbish but for now the downstairs PC is on the 40" TV, which means I can use it from the sofa!

Evening gents,

I'm back online after a week away in Devon. I came back to snow, a lot of snow. It took me 2 hours to reclaim the driveway.

I played alot of Wii while I was away and I'm now officially converted. I must get one.

This is infact the truth WH ... maybe HM and SC have forgotten this 'small factor' ... remember me and Mrs DL went to Boston earlier this year - well, apart from the cost of the week, it also cost me new handbags, shoes, perfume etc etc all in the name of 'lurve' ... cost me more than the trip!!! ha ha

Doesn't happen pb:-) We've had loads of houses, new and old, not a straight line in them - door frames and doors seem to be the worst!

Just got back from fitting a washing machine at my youngest son's house and his 'fiance' (got engaged Christmas Day:-)) is a most astute girl - she complained to me about the very same thing.....
