I want a snow day!
Still no sign of snow while the news keeps saying the UK will be under a blanket of the stuff by mid-week. I just say yeah, I'll believe it when I see it. Perhaps the lower South West has some sort of anti-snow forcefield?

Same here except I'm not sure when I can go back to work. I'm due back on Tuesday but since my office is out in a remote location on a farm and I can barely get my car out of the street with all the snow then there is little chance of anyone with 4 wheel drive making it up the farm track. Of course my company will expect me to work from home but to do that I'll need my office PC switched on so I can connect to it and the last time I was in the office there was no snow so it is switched off.
Just trying as much as I can to increase traffic and so far my ideas are working - signing up for Twitter, submitting links to all the search engines and then starting a facebook group up. Actually all those things are doing well :)
Don't get me wrong they have to use the best date, as it can only be (albeit very good) guesswork after all. How many times have you taken stuff in date out the fridge to find it mouldy and taken stuff well out of date out to find it still ok? Although bear in mind just because it looks ok.........
The main thing people need to focus on is
"Best Before" +
"Use Before"
are very different.
@Everyone. Happy New Year. :D

Ok abusing 'work's internet policy' again......

Can sympathise here MM, my mother (thankfully playing with angels) used to give my sons food that was years out of date - only found out one day when I went to collect them - we've had 'this' today Dad - looks at date, October 1968, ok - it's September 1998 now!!!!!
Yes, they're both still alive - but she was a nightmare - however, my dad is still going strong and believes that the 'sell by date' is only for guidance.........
