Mr Jammy strikes again. First getting drawn in the Christmas Quiz,, and now a day off school. Went into school this morning. Due to miscommunication, a message got sent to our city's radio station saying the school was closed, so they had no choice. There were only 4 of us out of 120 in our year, so i would've been the only one in my lessons. Good times!

You tried the old sneaky way of submitting YouTube URLs to Google's Translate service? It will just spit the same page back out by via their own proxy, might help. If it lands you in trouble, I didn't recommend you do this.

Aye it's the best tracking software around as far as I'm aware. You can find out a ridiculous amount of information from it, though as far as we can tell it's not 100% accurate. We run our own server tracking tools as well as Analytics, and they always report slightly different stats.

Once you start getting into the SEO side of things, I recommend you take a look at Google's Keyword Tool. This gives rough figures for any search term you choose, so you can see what is more popular, and what might be worth optimising your site pages for.

Good morning

@McLong, would love to see the video, but unfortunately can't get YouTube from the NHS computers :(

@Emmie, nothing snowy here yet, although the weatherman got super excited yesterday saying that he has run a few models of the weather and predictable out comes and in over 80% of them it had Bristol in the centre of a huge blizzard. I think Devon and Cornwall may have it at the moment (although pb may be able to confirm this...).

Depsite it not being snowy - the ground is still white from the hard frost.

Hopefully it won't be a snow day tomorrow as have the day off anyway to go to a funeral, but Wednesday evening would be nice ;)

And Ollie/Glen, why did you suggest signing to analytics for? I'm hooked - I check the results before my e-mails! I don't know whether that is down to the fact I'm getting hits now or I feel a bit like James Bond...

I think I just played Spore for three hours. The cell division stage is ultimate stoner gaming.

Yeah, I went to see Sherlock Holmes last night, it was pretty good, I liked the slightly more down to earth representation of Holmes, although it was hard to dismiss the stereotypical Sherlock Holmes image from my head in the beginning.

I always laugh at the Sherlock Holmes trailer on TV. We've had for many years Sherlock Holmes portrayed as a gentleman-like intellectual, and suddenly, America get hold of it, and he's got guns and everything! And the guys deep voice at the end of it.... "Sherlock Holmes....."
