Going to get Xbox live set up tonight I think. Not for online play but for DLC etc.

Interesting little fact, if you wanted to purchase every piece of content on Xbox Live Marketplace it would cost you 756,478 M.Points........or £6,430.05. :S

(Revision break) The thing about online rental sites is that you are pretty much at the mercy of the Royal Mail. Ever since the strikes it seems to take longer for my discs to get back to their respective sites (2 days rather than 1), so I'd also suggest always getting the proof of postage certificate just in case you need to claim.

@Sonic Chris: If that's true about Saw, then it would appear to have succumbed to the general dumbing down that the gaming industry seems to be doing to make games appeal more to the masses. People don't like games that challenge them unless it's something like Sudoku.

Had a looky at the Saw game a few months back, it's not been a talked about game, sort of slipped through the netting. It's not as 'puzzle-like' as i thought it would be. Lots of traps just require you wiggling a stick fast, which i was abit dissapointed about.

I'm, with Tesco Entertainment, which uses the LoveFilm scheme (sometimes receive them in a LoveFilm sleeve)

I may upgrade to a 2 disc package, that way I can start one when I send one back!

Hoping Saw comes through - apparently meant to be a great game!

I can't speak for the free trial cancellation but they gave me no trouble when I cancelled my subscription, it was all fairly straight forward. And a few months later they enticed me back with some special offers.

Only problem with LoveFilm i've ever heard is the problem with unsubscribing from a free trial. It's very difficult to get rid of them once they've got you.

Bear in mind it's just a rumour at the moment and they are all franchises so some may be ok and some may go. Just thought I'd mention it in case.

Hi everyone, hope all on here are well.

Haven't been around much recently, life a bit chaotic at the moment.Got called back into work 10.30 last night after another attempted break in (2nd within in a month) only this time the little scrotes smashed the alarm boxes off the walls and cut the phone lines. This meant I had to stay in there overnight, which sucked even more as it was freezing and I'm suffering from man flu.Got a description of them this time, bloke who saw them reckoned they were only about 14/15.They had hoodies on so he couldn't get a good look at their faces but reckoned they were no older than that.Police don't seem to be doing much, all though they did go out and look for them to be fair.Shame it was 2 hours after the break in though !.

I have stuck a few things on high priority on LoveFilm, hopefully get them soon. True Blood has a short wait so will get that at some point i guess, but plenty to keep me going until then.

Welcome Roz - enjoy the site and hope you stick around

For less than a Tesco meal deal (small sandwich, juice and crisps) I got a lovely big Tuna salad and 6 pack of McCoys crisps. I consider that a deal.

Also just been in WHSmiths and they're doing Blu-rays at half price, got Kung Fu Panda for the kids for £4.50.

Went to CEX as well, there's a lot of talk of them all closing down, some of the staff haven't been paid since before Christmas. Bloke in Gamestation opposite said they might be taken over.

Worth thinking about if you have any CEX vouchers hanging around.
