Afternoon.

Not looking forward to work tomorrow as don't exactly know when tomorrow is - been sleeping erratically the last 2 days :/

Witnessed an interesting conversation between Vexxxed and McLong last night. Inadvertantly made a o_0 comment that actually contributed to the convo... I'll leave it there I think...

And my question... hmm... I'll see...

I've something planned for my wife later on... I swear it's getting more difficult every year since it has to be somehow "better" yet different from last years, in order to not disappoint...

Poor Pete, yes even though it has terrible ratings, you should have gone to the romcom. Now you know how Vernon Kay and Ashley Cole feel today. Boy if I had a pound for every time I took naked photos of myself in a hotel room and forgot to delete them before giving the phone to my friend who then gave it to another mystery friend I'd have zero pounds because no one would ever, ever do that.

Okay I did the CNY thread, Jason (or anyone except Pete heh) your turn to do a Valentines thread, pb you can do the pancake day thread. I know you'll be making yours and not buying horrible rubbery ones like my mum does.

You guys are on the right lines.I kind of blagged her to see it.She wanted to see something called Valentines Day (which looked total pants),so I kind of made out The Wolfman was a bit of love story with a the main emphasis being a lovestruck woman striving to find the inner beauty within the beast.Sort of half promised it wasn't going be some hairy dude jumping about and ripping people to pieces for nearly 2 hours. It was indeed just some hairy dude jumping about and ripping people to pieces for nearly 2 hours and she wasn't even the least bit impressed.Managed to get an hour off work to nip back for lunch but that doesn't seem to have done much good though. In hindsight perhaps I should have just stomached the crappy rom com thing ?.

[S]Unless you want your relationships to last as long as one of Katie Price's,probably best not to take romantic tips from me ! [S]

The Wolfman? That doesn't sound like a romantic movie you'd take your wife to the night before Valentine's Day. Oh Pete what were you thinking!

He probably dragged her to see it. Always let the woman pick the film.

My girlfriend just wants to order dominoes, and watch some shoddy movies. Makes a change from crying alone in my room on V-tines I guess.

Your wife is going to be mad at you because she didn't like the film?

Were you involved in it's production? Otherwise I'm rather confused.

Morning guys,Awesome start to Valentines Day,work colleague rang me at stupid o'clock this morning to tell me he was married to the toilet (too much info there methinks) and won't be in today. That means I'm going to have to go in now until 9 PM tonight.Lovely wife still in bed, haven't told her yet but it should go down like a poop in a swimming pool.Took her to see The Wolfman last night (which she absolutely hated) so doubt I'm going to be in good books :(

@pb, Okay, I'm going to suggest you forget the 8GB model completely. As you said, you'd fill that in no time and an 8GB iPhone would just be silly as that opens the door to use up even more memory.

At the very least you'll want a 16GB model, but to be honest even that might be a bit too small. Especially if you plan to get some big game apps, tv shows or movies. Dr Who: The Time Warrior (4 episodes / £4.99) would be about 1.3GB. About the same for a movie and GTA : China Town Wars (£3.99) is 188MB. It all adds up.

As for 2nd or 3rd gen though. Apparently the 3rd gen is 50% faster. It comes with a mic on the headphones which allows you to make Skype calls, record audio messages and I think voice control. Unfortunately I haven't tried it out yet as my 8GB model didn't come with a mic headphone, but I'm getting one now that I know there's a Skype app.

So a 32GB 3rd gen iPod touch would be perfect. If it doesn't have scratches on the screen then that should be okay, but of course a brand new one would be better. :)

I think the new iPhones/iPods come out in June. So I might wait till then to get my iPhone.

Oh and yeah, Toy Story 3 doesn't come out until 23 July for you and 10 July for me. :)

Go to sleep, try to help the hopeless case just posted in Web Development, run like a 'headless chicken' to prove your worth it in MW2.....or just give it a rest and go to bed:-)
