Got my wife roses (the flowers not the chocolates), didn't cost the earth and still meant as much as anything else.

Taken the kids to a birthday party so she gets a break from that too.

I was nowhere near - just posted a "o_0" to hint at concern and it had other implications...

Did you see it? Poor McLong - who hacked your facebook?

EDIT: Just updated www.ghostsandmore.info with some of the photographs we had taken during our investigation at Woodchester Mansion.

Only uploaded some as I actually want a bit of this weekend - seeming most of it has been taken up by sleep!

So were you a good wingman Jason? :P

Indeed, it is a sad world we live. I'm going to stick with what I know - no Christmas, Easter, Valentines Day, birthdays, New Years celebrations and whatever else there is that I choose not to take a part in.

I do that too! But you know, Valentine's day, because of the widespread notion that everyone else is doing it, you just HAVE to as well, else she would feel left out and neglected. The commercialisation of Valentine's (as well as Christmas) has affected, forced the way society thinks... and the big companies know that.

Valentines Day = a waste of time and money, just like Christmas and Easter.

I recommend not giving your loved one anything on Valentines Day and surprising them by showing you love them on one of the other 364 days of the year. It'll mean more.
