Ok..heavy snow in the centre of Bristol...

Despite being overly annoyed and fed of snow - I have to admit I have the excitement again of hoping it will settle. It has already made the huge puddles into slush!

Awesome news, looking forward to it.

Morning everyone, bloody freezing here this morning and poor visibility driving in due to heavy fog. Good night last night though, watching calamitous Arsenal get beat in Portugal, always makes my week!

Morning gang! (always wanted to say that)

How is everyone today, nice and frosty here this morning. I watched UP on BluRay last night. It looks beautiful but i was a bit disappointed with it. Not a bad film but then i felt it lacked something. Worth a watch, but sent back to LoveFilm now!

Played a bit more BioShock, it is ok. Not my cup of tea in some aspects but i will stick it out and gain some Achievements, then it will be on its way back aswell.

Morning all.

I'm all legit Chris... saving makes the product more valuable to you in the end ;)

Still have a stiff neck though :/ albeit better than yesterday.

Thursdays are one my favourite days here as there is lots going on and not a thing our department can really do to help :) But it does mean I'll get through 8 teas before lunch :p

EGADS, no ideas as yet. Am I the one than needs to think of one :o Must get my GAD brain on... With respect to attracting more users, is there a chance of a "referral" scheme? Just thinking if you had a page with an area to enter a friends e-mail with a link to a "welcome" page to new users, it may bring in a few more people. That way you could combine an EGAD idea with most positive referrals in a 6 or 12 month period and see how that affects traffic.

Of course, if people are signing up and not posting/buying products that would be a bad thing - so maybe if this did occur there would have to be set conditions set as for a referral to count, they need to become a regular, post over x posts and words or subscribe to a freeola product.

If this is linked in to an EGAD over a set period of time, it would encourage users to refer, encourage referrals to refer (as they'd become elligible) and hopefully increase traffic and sales.

But it all adds up. On my budget, i'd end up with about 3 apps per year :P

Just watched the Halfpipe in the winter olympics, our fellar did rubbish. Fell both times. Came 12th, and the commentator was like "We should be very proud". He got about 20 points out of 100. His first run got 3 (/50). Commentator also didn't seem to know half the trick names. Going to watch the final at 3:15.

I keep forgetting to mention, there's a new series of The IT Crowd in production. You guys like the show right?

@Chris, naughty boy, a lot of the music, movies and tv series are expensive, but I find the apps pretty cheap.

Was hoping to Jailbreak my iPod tonight, seeing as i don't agree with the extortionate prices for some of the apps on iTunes. Sadly, I have the worst iPod to Jailbreak at the moment (iPod Touch 3G 64GB on 3.1.3 Firmware). There is a Jailbreak for it on Firmware 3.1.2, which I've tryed to downgrade to, but iTunes doesn't let you downgrade now. There is also talk of a Jailbreak for 3.1.3, but only on 1G and 2G. So no luck for me until a 3.1.3 Jailbreak for the iPod Touch 3G 64GB is released.
