Well I was off for three weeks, then came back and was off for 2 more days a few days later with a headache caused by my brain thing. But I was also off for a few days with heachaches before goig to hospital for my three week absence.
With the NHS well in my department anyway if you have more than 3 bouts of sickness in a 6 month period you get a advisory meeting.

Yeah, agree. That does seem pretty unfair, can't help being ill.
If got a disciplinary for posting random crap on places like this instead of doing my work that would be fair enough !.
On the Wii thing, yeah doubt the soft mod thing has helped the software sales for it.Saying that I don't actually know of anyone who has had it done.
Warhunt, glad you seem to be feeling marginally less crap mate.
Crikey! See upwards of 60 procedures a day. And being in the healthcare profession makes that a lot more difficult! Far from easy - hence why I am leaving to study Optometry - 20-30 people a day and paid a hell of a lot more :D
EDIT: And I post before I actually see my first patient ;)

Most places tend to have x number of absences before they check with you. If you have a serious reason to be off, then there is little they can really do.

Seems a bit harsh.
You and Warhunt both ill, who will be next!
