it was a trip to the safari park yesterday. A nice day out but I don't think we will ever beat the stand off we had with the rhino a few years back. Mum didn't like us driving slowly alongside its youngster so came onto the road ahead to confront us.
In a court case update, my former teacher looks like he will be spending some of his retirement in jail after being found guilty.
Starting off wet, must be a Monday.
Youngest is now at camp for a week, house seems very quiet without her. I'm at work now, though, so no real difference for me at the moment.
quite cool this morning.
Just been reading about the court case against my former maths teacher. It seems he may have been rather inappropriate towards a boy at the time when I was at school. I used to get extra tuition from him at lunchtimes but never a hint of anything dodgy towards me but he was an exceptional teacher and I have him to thank for my A in higher maths.
Overcast day with some smoke still overhead after a huge fire in the city yesterday.
But it's fine, they've just brought in bacon and sausage sandwiches to the office...
...and what did your current provider do?
[s]Hmmm...[/s]Nothing yet, I haven't phoned BT as I was worried about the possible cost.
I would plug a basic corded phone (that's known to work) into the test socket which is revealed by removing the lower faceplate on your master socket. Then try ringing your number - if the phone doesn't ring then it's a fault and you won't be billed.
[s]Hmmm...[/s]Yep, already done that.
[s]Hmmm...[/s] If it's a line fault then it could... unless you are on FTTP (i.e. fibre to the premises).
Yes all providers will bill you if it's your responsibility - should be straightforward to test/prove.
[s]Hmmm...[/s]I've run all sorts of tests myself but can't find a fault. I believe BT's method is to wade in and then announce whether it's internal or not, handing you a bill at the same time if it is.
