Miyazaki is a genius, but he didn't really come up with the story. Is it not just a reworking of The Little Mermaid, admittedly with added Miyazakiness all over it. Good film, but I thought it paled alongside Spirited Away and My Neighbour Totoro.
Morning everybody. All DS owners should try Dragon Quest IX, it is the kind of JRPG that Square Enix used to make before cut-scenes completely took over. I'm really enjoying it so far, which is rare indeed these days.

Finally got to watch Ponyo yesterday with the girls. Brilliant movie, don't know how Miyazaki keeps coming up with these fantastic stories, lovely that the inspiration led to building a Ponyo children's nursery too.

I'd say that but I am sure there are more FF's and Tomb Raiders left in the sidelines. Hitman does need another game soon though. I just hope it is in more of a populated world (i.e. a bit like Assassins Creed with lots of people around). And the options need to be huge (think "A New Life" style game instead of a level) with abput 20+ "accidents" possible.

No milk in the office and the shop is closed at the moment, so have made a coffee. Made it a bit too strong though :/

Evening all!
Should really be sleeping as I am shattered from a busy weekend involving about 10 hours sleep.
Investigation at the Ram Inn was very interesting. I don't know why I participated in another Ouija board as I hate the darn things. Got a little hairy though - a few things happened that did put the fear of God into me...and one "spirit" even claimed to be the big guy himself... You can say what you want a believing what is going on behind that activity, but the way that glass moves it is near on impossible to recreate its movements and accuracy in messages.
Managed to do 2 lone vigils. That was great - first one I got a bit anxious and decided to stay by the door for safety. Then after ten minutes decided that I was just being stupid and laid on the bed. Second one I was overly confident...and the radios gave out. When everyone decided to leave the room they were in and walk towards me, I couldn't receive their messages - cue a heart in mouth moment where all I can hear are loud footsteps closing in around me in the dark. Fun. I'll be writing the report for the team over the next few days. But currently we have some photo galleries online...
