Awefull actually means you are full of awe, which is a word but means you would be saying the opposite of what you originally meant!

Well done GP.... 'awful' is spelt 'awful', as is 'awfully' and 'awfullness'.... we are also seeing the 'break down of the English Language' in SC's comment.....

Enough said :¬))

I stayed up to watch the Man U vs Kansas City friendly last night (yeah yeah I know). I deeply regret it now as it was a shocker, not that friendlies are ever that good.

Nice to see some of the United youngsters get a run around though and Berbatov is playing some decent footy believe it or not, which I imagine is down to there being no Rooney on pre-season at the mo.

I agree though, can't wait for the start of the season.

I've never really bothered with pre-season games but I changed that one year when Arsenal were at Ibrox. I was looking forward to seeing Henry and Pires dazzle the crowd with their skills... neither of them played, Rangers didn't play either and I got drenched on the way home!

Just like your spelling?

I agree though, football friendlies bore me to tears so I steer well enough away. Saying that, I'm going to Upton Park next weekend for a friends birthday to cheer on Deportivo against the Happy Hammers.

*EDIT* Sorry, Afternoon all! (still asleep) Still annoyed about Laguna Seca, but oh well, I've only been a fan for a week, best not get too passionate.

Really want the premier league to start, these preseason games are just aweful.
