I must be one of the few not looking forward to the season ahead. Numerous players have left, nobody has come in, even Burnley players turn down a move and the chance to play in the Champions League. The rival team have signed 7 (although still got cuffed in the CL qualifier 1st leg)... it's not looking promising at the moment.
In preparation for the (supposed) final Saw film in October me and a few mates have starting watching the series from the start (the first time for a couple). Last night was the original which is still the best, mainly as it has 2 Losties in it :)
Also, 15 days till football is back on our screens. Brilliant!
Was planning to go in to work today, kids are off and difficult to work from home, but I slept through the alarm and catching the next available bus would have got me in after 9am, not good.
So, resigned to working from home and hoping the wife can somehow keep the kids busy.

Movie set rather than street corner (makes more sense!), but no, wouldn't make sense without Dirk Benedict.
The nearest equivalent would be Hannibal (neeson) with a Clone Trooper walking past.
It happens at the start of every episode. Face standing quietly on a street corner as a Cylong walks past him. Facial expression - priceless. Scene of pure genious :)

In a word: Brilliant.
Think of the A-Team you loved and then think about what it would be like with a 12 rating instead of a PG. That's the film.
It's really loyal to the TV Series. Yes, it takes a while to get used to the 'new' versions of the characters, particularly BA, but they work and the casting is inspired. It's not played too seriously (just as with the TV series) either.
For A-Team to work you need:
Big Explosions
The Love/Hate BA vs Murdock relationship
BA's fear of flying
People flying all over the place
Making things out of other things
The team working together despite being completely different
Hannibal coming up with a completely mad plan
It has all these things and more.
Just need to get on with my investigation report. Played Battlefield Bad Company 2 last night (with gr13ve... I believe). Not bad. Getting into it slowly. However, I am a sniper...I am usually assault on other games as I can't snipe! BB2 has brought out a change in me!
I'm currently banging my head off my desk. I'm convinced this company I work for is some sort of Big Brother type TV show with the purpose of seeing how long it takes someone to crack.
A customer screams for some changes to be made as a matter of urgency. I get him to agree to 50% now and 50% later but infact I get the lot done in one go. Nobody bothers to test this new version, instead someone thinks it would be a good idea to tinker with the data on the database and now I'm meant to tidy up the mess that was made when they should just have tested and installed the latest software in the first place.

NO! Don't open the jiffy bag!
