Morning,

I was up at 4:30am to take my wife and daughter to Edinburgh airport so not too awake now. It's just me, the cat, the goldfish and the hamster for a few days. If by the end of the week it's just me and the cat then we'll both have some explaining to do.

Well, I wasn't sure whether it would be able to be as good as the first 2, but I was surprised, it actually managed to top them.

Yes, Toy Story 3 is better than 1 and 2 (IMO, obviously!), it had me welling up and then laughing (it will do the same to anyone who has followed the first 2 films and loves the characters).

Just so well paced and put together and as usual Pixar have made it entertaining for both kids and adults. My 4 and 5 year old both loved it to bits.

It would seem so!

Toy Story 3 worth going to see then? May have to get my bottom in gear and go and see it. Not entirely sure why everything is diving into 3D now. I enjoy watching a film without having glasses on my...oh wait... :p

Morning all.

Guessing it was a busy weekend for everyone then.

At least I got to see Toy Story 3, great film. Don't think the 3D added all that much though, to be honest.

This is funny though.

Well I'm back...
and it now looks like me and the tumbleweed thrower!

Harbour Festival was entertaining. Got there and it was just nice to walk around the docks with a pint in hand. Grabbed a bite to eat from a few stalls and had a pint of mango ale. Tasted rather like Leffe in all fairness (perhaps slightly fruitier!). Couldn't drink that one in a hurry!

After that, hit a music bar, aimed for a club but decided to join a casino instead. I like £5 free bets, especially when you are told how to spend it and you end up £35 richer...

So that day was a success - probably 6-7 pints, lots of food, trip there and back and overall came back with £5 less than I started with. Can't complain about that!

And in other news, I have made the perfect class in MW2. Chris had better watch out when he joins in with the opposing team from now on!

I've been checking back all day, and besides the few tumbleweeds tumbling around, the place is dead.

Still, got a home multi-gym being delivered tomorrow which my mum has ordered. Time to buff myself up over the summer "GET TO THE CHOPPER"

Ha it ends up sounding like incidental music from Star Trek the original series.

Oh guys, thought I would just mention there's a 6 foot long Boa Constrictor escaped somewhere around Essex.

Might want to keep an eye for that :)

I'd love to see that film.

I'm just off to the Bristol Harbour Festival (I say I'm going there, but actually looking for a few bars to prop up! Then club/casino afterwards).

Finally finished the Ancient Ram Inn report if anyone was interesting in our findings. Pretty creepy stuff, but a fun night out. Looking forward to the next investigation there!
