The thing about SoN was she was brought into Voyager to sex that show up. Enterprise did that right at the start with the sexy Vulcan. Maybe that was the issue with the later episodes of Voyager and Enterprise - they just tried to appeal to the lusty teenagers. Enterprise was full of it with everyone stripping down and rubbing gel on each other.
Kira was one of my favourites on the show so nerrrr...

If you are talking about Kira from Charmed, then I may have to agree with you. DS9 Kira has no redeeming features and isn't worth thinking about. She is quite easily overshadowed by an underwear model.

or
During an invasion of Earth the Klingons got accidentally sucked into a Mars Bar making machine and all their offspring have since had these ridges.
Geeky answer:
TOS Klingons, as everyone knows* didn't have the ridge effect because during the Augment war the klingons attempted to experiment with their own Augmentation and this caused a virus to alter their DNA removing their ridges (explained in Enterprise).
ie: They were born with ridges, all normal klingons have this feature.
