My sleep pattern has now gone the complete opposite to what it was over the summer. I fell asleep about 7 o'clock and am now wide awake. This isn't good.

Ugh, a fairly poor day for me today.

Slept awfully last night, hit traffic in the morning, got into work, had some problems with experimental procedure and equipment usage clashes, forcing my experiment to run over by 5 hours. I'm hoping for my sake that these problems have been sorted for me for tomorrow.

However, this afternoon I had a surprise visit from the girlfriend and won £2 of Amazon vouchers, so the end of the day ended up being slightly better. Hoping that continues throughout the rest of the week.

You attend boring meetings in which you don't do much, you only get to speak once a day, you've got a driver. Are you Harriet Harman?

That settles it then, you're Harriet Harman.

I didn't realise just how soon Halo Reach comes out. Damn, I need that game but I've only just saved enough with trade-ins for the Move controller and I've put a deposit on that. Need to think of alternative plans.

Morning,

I am in blustery Birmingham at the moment for a team meeting. Normally sit through hours of boring stuff before getting to my "five minutes" section. No secretary today though, no tempt secretary today either so the meeting has been cuts into smaller meetings and I'm sat here twiddling my thumbs.

Noticed the kids were back as well - took ages to get down here this morning. Still at least I have a driver so I just got to snooze most of the way down.

Hmm... fresh meat today eh?

Believe me when I say, there is nothing you guys have done or said before that he is not already aware of. I'm sure he is fully aware of what lays in store for him on this board...

You can always tell when kids are going back to school, it takes me much longer to get to work...

Day 2 of my 7 consecutive working days, this is going to be a long week! Still, new staff member starting today, will try to get them posting on the forums later on.

Morning.

Guess who has to do the school run today. Yes, me!

Weather isn't looking good either, so I may get wet.
