Seems mega quiet on here at the moment :(

Watched the remake of Nightmare On Elm St. last night,thought it was pants.Why does Hollywood keep spending money to make remake films far inferior to the originals ? and perhaps more to the point why do I still spend money to watch them ?.Suppose it wont be long before we get a Jaws remake with a crappy CGI shark or something ?.

I'm just tidying up my place and then I think I'll go and get some fish and chips.

Off to sunny Scotland for a week.

Oh, and there are several Ratchet and Clank games on PS3 now.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the ICO/Shadow of the Colossus HD pack and Last Guardian.

I can vouch for the PS3 being great, you also get a Blu-ray, iPlayer, Lovefilm streaming, movie store and other lovely stuff, not to mention the option of Move if you want motion gaming.

That said, I can put in just as good an arguement for the new 360...

Tea break time took me to browsing Amazon for some new books and somehow I ended up in the games section. Now I'd already discounted getting an Xbox (I tried, really tried, to convince myself that because it was cheaper it was the console for me but I couldn't shake the 'sick' feeling I got while trying to get my head around the idea of owning one!) and instead was considering picking up an old N64 simply to replay Banjo^^

While browsing I found a couple of games that are helping my decision:

I definitely can see a trend developing here and a leaning towards a certain console. However, I will wait til Xmas or the new year to see if there are any offers on.

In the meantime I found R&C 3 for the PS2 which I obviously missed due to a certain online game addiction. This has now been rectified with a used game on it's way to me.

Now - has anyone got the winning lottery numbers for this weekend? I need time off from my working life again ><

Lucky that Freeola doesn't fall under that criteria, it's the last bastion of sanity I have left during my working day.

Got Fallout 3 really cheap last year, PSN+ gave me all the DLC free too so that was good. Doubt I'll be getting New Vegas any time soon.

I think I may be able to get one game before Christmas but that would have to be Gran Turismo 5 (assuming it still comes out before Christmas with all the further delays).

I've bought Fallout 3 GOTY edition instead. Going to see if I can make my way through that before I consider New Vegas. I had Fallout 3 before but allowed myself to get distracted and then I could never get back into it.
