Afternoon everyone, woke up to a white landscape this morning and a hell of a hangover. Went out to dinner with the girlfriend last night, then asked her to marry me. She said yes immediately and I couldn't be happier. So of course I had a pint or 10 to celebrate :)

No snow as yet here, but promised for early hours of Saturday and Sunday mornings, with heavy falls Monday and Tuesday :¬(

Apparently the snow is moving down here overnight. If it does snow it will be the first time it has come here in November in about 16 years.
Morning all, from the very cold, VERY snow-ridden North East! It has now snowed so much that not only can I not get out of this village, but also the tree in our back garden has collapsed under the weight. I am literally looking at 3 feet of snow here, it took 20 minutes just to clear the path to get to the car, let alone clear the road around it. (My wellies were rather stupidly left in the boot, and I'll absolutely need them in the next couple of days.)

Colder again in Cardiff. I think this place has to be one of the coldest cities in the Southwest. And wettest!
Heading home today so hoping any snow that we may be getting holds off until I'm firmly tucked away at home...and gone again before Sunday afternoon!
I feel such a nerd though. I've spent the week looking forward to playing on the Xbox...

At home trying to work AND look after my youngest while the wife takes the eldest to school. Lucky I have TV and PS3 in the study so she can sit watching Bambi while I get on with other things.
