Snows, snow and more snow. Getting bored of it now. All my path clearing efforts yesterday were totally pointless, completely covered again during the night. We do have a fine display of icicles hanging from the gutter though and surprisingly lengthy too.

That's a pretty long wait in a coach!

In less serious news, I might see if I can get a cheap chocolate advent calendar for the office today.

Her school coach was stuck in TOTAL South East grid lock...
Looking at the local Police Twitter feeds it's still chaos due to abandoned vehicles etc.

Yeah they did, sounds like chaos from the radio and a few friend's Facebook updates (one slept in his car on his way back from Gatwick). It still amazes me how this country can be caught out every time there is a little snow. After last year you though people would have been more prepared this time around... oh well.

We had a little more here last night but nothing too serious, just a fresh coat on what hadn't quite melted yesterday. Roads were much better today, although it is colder.

Morning.

Another freezing one, still no snow though. Seems like parts of London got a fair amount last night though.

Still nothing for us, but some snow earlier in Exeter as I left.

Was quite surprised by Ellie Goulding's new version of her album, Bright Lights (on iTunes), it has all the tracks from Lights on plus a load of better stuff and some live tracks. Much better.

Evenin all .... buckets of snow from the early hours until the present time. Not really let up, been blizzard conditions at times and the forcast is for more of the same for at least the next 12 hours. Working outside has been a real treat to-day....(I don't think so) but someone has to do it :¬)

Pretty thick snow for me today: Hmmm's view ! 16 miles from central London

Our single track lane can get quite iffy. 6"/7" deep where it hasn't been compacted - lucky I have two Land Rovers :¬)

Actually having bothered to go outside for the first time today (needed to send a rental back), it would appear that the snow has began to melt here, which is good news, especially with me supposedly taking my girlfriend to a university interview in Manchester on Friday.

Been snowing on and off here all day, nothing is settling though (apart from what we had overnight). Nothing more is predicted for a few days, although tomorrow is supposed to be really cold, so a nice icey trip to work for me...
