Staying on the weather theme, it is also blowing a horrific gale here in the Midlands at the moment. I wouldn't complain, but strong winds always seem to keep me awake at night for some reason.

On a side note, never buy Morrisons own brand food. I made the mistake the other day and am still having nightmares.

Have been around all day - redundancy has that effect ha ha - some good news though.....I don't need to work any more, my state pension forecast arrived to-day and yippeee I have got more than enough qualifying years and it appears that I have also been paying for others for years :¬D (Tell me something I had always suspected). One thing though, requesting a 'pension forecast' is something to be recommended - at least you know where you stand! (And this advice is from someone who for years and years has always questioned the reason for Tax and National Insurance deductions)! Mind you, in theory I could have been receiving it since Apr 2010, I'll leave it for another 7 years :¬D

Am currently waiting for my chinese takeaway to arrive. You know something is wrong when they can quote your order back to you before you even get the chance to say it.

Oh and it's very wet and windy in Yorkshire. We always seem to talk about the weather on here.

I've spent all day with the virtual sellotape and pollyfilla trying to plug a gaping hole in the code behind our software.

Now I'm going through the yellow pages to see if I can find some to track down the location of the person who created this mess.

I'm around, just barely. Been really busy with attempting to rearrange the college's pool practice to make it more available for people, and then had squash last night, which culminated in me starting yet another review, which basically didn't get finished due to a guilty feeling of not finishing the others...

...but tonight I have given myself the night to me, as I have withdrawn from the pool squad for the match tonight, so I have a bit of time to play some games (although reviews and walkthroughs for said games may just be backburnered further). Currently tidying my room, though, so huge amounts of fun to be had.

I really need to start packing up to catch the bus here.

We were having a massive game of hide-and-seek, as we all hid nobody was 'seeking' and, as such, have been waiting patiently for nothing...

I'm sure winners have been getting picked, but nothing to do with me so will have a word!

Sorry i've not been on much. I've been balancing various family emergenies with work and University. It's not a easy task, but i've decided to have the day off to sort out some stuff. Very glad I did though, because something just cheered me up loads!

My dog has just met -and made friends -with the postman for the first time. Was so cute to see! Sorry, I love anything dog-related. Take care everyone!
