Morning all....and the high winds continue :¬( Suffered a power cut last night until the early hours of this morning.....why does it always happen when you are using the bathroom ha ha :¬D
Seen this mentioned on a couple of forums.Apparently if you send in a Torres or Carroll shirt (whoever the hell they might be) Paddy Power will give you a free £50 bet for it.Not sure why people seem so keen to offload these,take it there worth much less than £50 then?.Anyway peeps who have these shirts seem to think this is a mega deal so thought I would mention it.
Whilst on the Paddy Power site I noticed they are offering 66/1 odds on Marco Simoncelli to win this years MotoGP championship.Now that is a sport I do know something about and those are very interesting odds.I very rarely bet (only really ever done it for the Quidco cashback thing) but reckon I might just stick a tenner on that.For those who know as much about the sport as I do about football,he is a young Italian rider on a satellite team about to start his second season in the sport.The thing is he is very good and this year his satellite bike has full factory support (exactly the same machine as Stoner and Pedrosa will have at their disposal,just a different colour).I'm sure if Numnut reads this he will back me up on this one.Oh yeah,probably should mention Simoncelli was fastest in all 3 test sessions on the final day at Sepang this week and right up at the sharp end on the others.I wonder if Paddy Power will do each way on this?

Appologies, but this post will be purely weather themed!
Came home for lunch to find a skip outside the house with rather a lot of wood. Went to the back of the house and found some of the surrounding fence missing. I am extremely greatful for the neighbours for putting the blown-away fence elsewhere, or it would have made the situation far worse.
Going to spend some more time helping the rest of the neighbourhood , as we're all wary of a unstable tree above two of the houses. Hope everyone is safe and doesn't have the same problem.
