Morning everyone,

Haven't had chance to check out the Gears 3 beta yet, been really busy this week.Anyone tried it yet?

Picked up Deathsmiles for £1.98 from GAME last week, looks like a bit of old school fun, haven't had time to try that either.

Heh. I'm sure a controller won't hurt though, what with the limited time on the GOW3 beta and all... :)

I hope you didn't just chuck those classic machines out! There are good homes for them, you know.

Anyway. Thought I was ok today, went out in the car this afternoon (after my 24 hours of not being allowed to drive was up) and realised perhaps I shouldn't have tried my luck. Now taking more pain killers again.

Still, it's manageable and at least I can use some time to get some reviews up on my website and for here if I can get time.

Silly lad :¬)

I remember being told the same thing and thinking 'oh right' .... "Can I use a PC/keyboard" ... oh, yes...as long as you are lying down! I can remember the sunbed now ha ha....

As for 'loft foraging' .... the machines are out of the loft and awaiting an influx of even more...I think...at least PS1 and 2 spotted earlier..hard to tell in the gloom :¬)

Will post results after tomorrow's expedition :¬)

Morning all,

Thanks for the wishes, back now, though head swimming still from the after effects of general anesthetic, plus a quite literal pain in the butt.

Evening all,

Had that 'feeling' a few years ago now pb and can quite sympathize...just trying to remember how I tried to relieve the situation myself...a sun bed springs to mind, but god know why or how ha ha!

Have been a 'loft forager' (said in a french accent) today and cleared out no end of stuff ... 3 portable TVs, one 17" monitor and base unit (AMD K6 no less + twin hds), Sega Master System and XBox core and much more...the great tip in the sky is now a little fuller ha ha...but my loft space is becoming 'useable'....happy days :¬)

Morning all,

Thanks for the wishes, back now, though head swimming still from the after effects of general anesthetic, plus a quite literal pain in the butt.

I missed the sad news yesterday that Elizabeth Sladen had died of cancer. It's very sad news for all of us Doctor Who fans.

Morning everyone.

Heading back to York today for the final time before I finish that stint at university. Lots of hard work (and hard play), so expect me to be a little quieter over the next two months or so.

Morning.

Just off to the hospital in a minute, so won't be around for the rest of the day. The good side of all this is that I get the next 2 days off on medical leave.

Hope all goes well pb ... all our thoughts are with you :¬)

Thinking of writing out a complaint to Ofcom about that 'Wright Stuff' program from the other night, featured on the Gamers Voice website.

Didn't see this but read about it.I'm not hugely surprised TBH,most episodes of that dire program that I've seen have been filled with ill informed sensationalist nonsense.
