So America drops a bomb.
On Americans, Kurds and John Simpson.
*shakes head*
A load of Iraqi soldiers all lying flat on the ground, trying to keep cover from the enemy and hide away, and a bloody camera crew with a reporter standing right in the middle of them, as obvious as black on white.
I think the Americans should do the same considering just how many Friendly fire incidents there have been over the past week or so.
But even so, the level of competence shown by the Americans has been shocking.
Hammertime! Hammertime! seems to be their mantra as they blow up anything within reach, regardless of who's side it's on.

I was wondering this the other day. Other films that were released around the time of Three Kings have been on TV, The Green Mile, for instance, and with a big star like Clooney, this would pull in viewers...

It's odd though, this war in the information age.
Within minutes of anything happening, it's all over the TV. C***-ups just can't be covered up anymore.
Surely there have been serious mistakes in the wars of years gone by, but I guess these were easier to keep out of the media?
The Kurdish Leader's brother was travelling in the convoy and is now in a critical condition after being bombed: another good piece of American diplomacy...
The Americans need to calm down and take the extra 20-30 seconds needed to verify that they are definitely shooting at the enemy and not the coalition. Most reports I've seen portray the British troops as consumate professionals who have a job to do and are attempting to liberate the country, the Americans look like they are on a hunting trip with much whupping and a hollering every time they bag themselves "a trophy".

In this various BBC 'celebs' take off their faces to become other BBC 'celebs'.
John Simpson just so happens to be in that ad.
As does Richard Blackwood.

Saw this on TV yesterday, tha camerman was injured, and got blood on the front of his camera. He tried to wipe it off with his fingers, but smeared it across the screen. The shots of the injured, and army types running away, seen through bloody smears, was pretty shocking.
