I been saving £20 a month in a seperate savings account for just over 3 years now. Doesnt seem like much, and i hardly notice it in my monthly spending, but this month i have finally hit £1000 in that account. feels great :)

Just goes to show how little things can make a difference.

This is basically my savings account for me to buy a supercar(well, a VX220/maybe a Astra GSi turbo). Got a while to go yet...And i'm working an extra shift at work over the summer so perhaps i'll start saving £30 a month.

Heh congrats on the £1000.

When I have loads of money I always find things to buy which are quite pointless. Then when I have no money I find things that are really useful and I want them.

Damn.

ortega if you are tempted to spend the £1000 you can spend most of it on
wine, women and wacky baccy..... and then waste the rest.....

I'm not going to buy my first car...I'm getting my parents to buy it for me. I have to pay the insurance and the driving lessons but I said "Well I guess I'll be practising in your car I suppose?" and they totally freaked! lol At first my Mum said "How about a nice Ford Ka? It's a good beginners car?". Then I told her that it's a womans car and have managed to get her to agree to buy me a Audi TT. Nothing fancy like with a spoiler and convertable etc just a nice silver one with black tainted windows. I CAN'T WAIT :D

I don't save, I tend to always find a way to while away my money on worthless other things.

Like games.

And trips to stockport.

Or both.

But seriously, I really hate the concept of money - we should barter and trade. Yes, the are both the same, but it is good.

Then I could trick my local newsagent into letting me have some penny sweets for a digital camera.

I should tell you that 4 is a very lucky number on the Irish lottery, but both Saturday and Wednesday it never cam out.

I find 'Steve Lilley Racing' has the best odds for the Irish Lottery.

You got robbed. In iceland, you can get a bag of frozen potatos, 50 chicken nuggets, a frozen turkey, oven chips, two bottles of Virgin Cola and bag of party mix all for £3.49. I'm not even joking.

The best way to save money is of course buying sofas. I went to one shop and found that a certain sofa was down from £1000 to £600, a saving of £400 pounds. I purchased 4 sofas saving a whopping £1600 which paid for a holiday to America. I then sold the sofas for £400 each making another £1600.

Therefore I in all I made £3200!

Easy money.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
