Just bought Eternal Darkness off ebay for £8. Is that worth it and is it really that good a game? Im new to the Cube and so dont really know.

Thanks to this topic I've gone back to Eternal Darkness - restarted the game as although I remembered it was great, I never completed it and couldn't remember the story up to where I was.
I'm sure I found it easier to find the first stage last time though...

My fav part of the game is making those barrier shields and watching the enemies run into them like flies to a bug zapper.

Yep you do but I cant really tell you with out spoiling it for people who haven't played it.

But yeah, I definitely preferred it to the Resident Evil remake. The control mechanisms were a lot, lot better, and so was the combat - everything worked superbly, all ontop with some scrummy puzzles to boot. Yeah, that was when the Gamecube was really appreciated by the UK market. Come 2004 though... :(

Have you not played the game them Gimo? I am suprised at the amount of people who haven't played it. I one of the best games on the GC.
