I'm not the greatest of drawing-type-people, but here's a drawing I did last night of a character... he needs quite a bit of work... um, well, this is more the character he turns into instead of the character he starts out as.

Just thought I'd upload it and show you all. Any drawing-type-people who can give me any tips on rendering and stuff?

Erm, sorry, don't ask why I did that. I was just going down memory lane with the threads in here.

Good drawing that Grix, even though I had to POP this thread from about 10 years ago.

You've certainly got talent, work on it.

Bloomin Monkeys Sfone. That picture is awesome.

I'm beginning to learn Graffiti art, Its an absolutely amazing art form and is a way to express your thoughts and feelings just through a few letters strung together - but made to look amazing.

Excuse the fact that it is poorly put together :-)

I still mean to use these art tools I have to do some sort of sample animation. I'm still a fan of 2D over 3D for cartoons (that doesn't relate to games, mind you, though Zelda is an exception).

If I can get my music and animation together I expect I could come up with something workable, if not pretty. I just need time to do it.

Good start though, the main thing is to fiddle around with pieces of software (like I know you already have started doing) and find the one that suits you best. Most of them either come with text file manuals or wizards, but you can also find lots of help for rendering on the web itself. Oh, and save it all as you go along, preferably on CD!

I have a drawing, I will upload it onto my site (which is crap) in a minute. But the fact of the matter is. I drew it on A2 paper, and my scanner is only the size of A1 so i had to sacn both halves and put it together, and it looks dodgy.

The quote on the picture should read 'Peace and stability in this land, will not come from the barrel of a gun, because peace without stability is an impossibility.

I will go and upload it now.

Hate it. Probably due to my sister playing it on the CD I made for her again and again. And again. Then once more. Everyday. For 2 months. Damn her. :-)
