Well, now I've heard it all. US Navy using dolphins and sea lions to find mines. They had a picture in the paper today of one with a camera attached to it's fin, made me snort with laughter. Apparently they've been doing it for over 30 years now. Quite amazing really. We give them fish, they find mines - that's symbiosis for ya!

The USA have also trained Whales for anti-submarine duties. This project, code name Jonah, is based on persuading leviathans to swallow enemy subs. Enemy subs will have been painted to look like giant shrill, by covert teams of Navy Seals and Dave's Painters and Decorators. The POWs will be treated in accordance with the Geneva convention but will not be allowed to attempt escape by using a feather to tickle the Whale's blowhole.

I heard a rumour that the're also training monkeys to use machine guns so they can go into the battlefield...oh sorry, that's the US army ;S

But they won't know that they've been blown up so it will all be fun!

On the positive side tuna stocks will rocket.
