It was my birthday last Thursday and I'd asked her to buy me one of those Freeview digital set-top boxes that give you all the free digital channels - she said "I am not buying you that" so I sulked for a bit.
As it turns out, she'd already bought me - get this - a great big shiny 28 inch widescreen Sony TV with an integrated digital tuner! Crikey! So, not only do I get the digital channels like I wanted but I also get them on a cracking widescreen.
