The real problem for the X-box may be the fact that it is so similar to a PC. The architecture is almost identical and it runs useing a version of Windows. Potential crashes and 'errors' aside, the issue of games will make or break this console.
Due to the similarities between the X-Box and PC the flood of simple ports is inevitable. This may not be a bad thing as many consoles have benefitted from PC ports (Quake III)
But what is Important is that if it is easy to transfer a PC game to the X-Box it mught not take agvantage of the console's potential and look and play exactly the same as the PC version. This would be a bad thing.
Consoles benefit greatly from having exclusive games - Gran Turismo, Shemnue (???) mario etc. If the X-box doesn't have these why would you buy it?
As has been said before games make a console and that's exactly what the X-Box needs - High quality, exclusive titles. However I feel that these will be few and far between....
Remember, the Xbox is not a PC- it is built just like the DC and uses the same archetecture and set up. I bet MS did this because the DC is so easy to program.

And plus, I mean Sonic does have a point with the DC Windows. I bet he is right now....Just stop arguing and wait and see.

I don't know about every PC OK!!!! All i was saying was that this is the usual reason. The fact your PC crashes was due to the the command that was probably made when windows was installed- an error in the config or something!
Anyway, the fact is that the xbox will not have these problems. Look at the great job MS did with the dc win CE,

OK then. Vai originally said that he would not buy an Xbox because, amoung other concerns, he thought the windows environment would be as unstable as on a PC. (Vai later said he would not buy one because he did not like bill gates). However, the reason for windows crashes on computers is that there are so many configurations... the fact that someone has to configure them is a problem! The xbox, however, is a stable platform (ie. it does not have different configurations). The Windows OS will be specific for the box.
Sega also uses a Windows CE Operating system on the Dreamcast (says so on the front) for many games. Sony use a sony OS on the Ps2. The fact is that these work in very different ways than on PCs and DO NOT CRASH!
If that doesn't answer the question, maybe you are a fool, and did not see that the first message is sarcasm!!>>?!?>!>? The fact is, the DC does NOT crash! This is "Sarcasm". Look it up! Unlike the guy i was responding to who (wrongly) claimed that the xbox would crash, I came back using the DC as an example.

You are clearly a fool. The guy before my last message said they would not buy an Xbox simply because Microsoft is making it, and he doesn't like bill gates. I explained that this is a cr@p excuse and he should wait for the console to come out before judging it (much to the opposite of what u said!). I comared him to G.W. Bush because he too uses poor arguments. I did not say i want to become president. Ali realises this, and i even won a game for a message in THIS topic!

My PC is a Win95 and it got completely screwed by a weird command. We had to pay a load to fix it, and it has been slightly broken ever since. Normal settings as well.
