People do. I've had a long argument and genuine with someone on these forums before who really didn't get it - even some staff in this office (who shall remain nameless) had to have the basics of evolutionary theory spelled out to them last time this subject came up. Which made me angry.

how about the creationalist religious nuts who insisted that creationalism be taught to our kids in school science lessons alongside Darwinism?

Thats was true in Darwins day but not anymore. Most people can see that Evolution is common sense. I haven't come across anyone who actually believes that evolution hasn't happened

so a lot of blind faith vs. a lot of hard evidence
HHhmmm, that's a toughie
I think we are all very bored people
It's well known that viruses can "mutate", which is essentially evolution, but people still refuse to acknowledge any evidence that evolution theory works.
Oh well, not in the mood for a religion versus science debate today.

That depends on who own's the egg, the occupant or the layer.
The layer may not be a chicken, and so if it belongs to the "thing that is almost a chicken but not quite" then it's not a chicken's egg, it's a "thing that is almost a chicken but not quite"'s egg.
So the chicken came first ;p
