Nice one. The Queen alien probably was a result of natural selection which evolved an existing xenomorph's physiological profile to adapt it to extreme environmental conditions that the previous species was exposed to. The ability to produce eggs containing the saprophtic facehuggers (they do actually provide oxygen and nutrients to the host so cannot be defined as parasites) is a great survival technique, as they can remain dormant for great periods of time. Therefore they (the Aliens) do not need an immediate supply of hosts in which to perpetuate their hideous forms.

Someone I went to school with, when pressed, would admit that there was a fair chance that evolution was possible, but chose not to believe it because he didn't like the idea of being related to other animals. I think he thought it made him seem less special to God or something.

In this country?

I only heard about that in America. In some states they put a disclaimer in the fromt of text books saying evolution is only a theory and has yet to be proven. Which is tru I guess, but still a bit wacko
