Just been to the v2003 page (www.v2003.info) and seen the confirmed lineup so far:

Red Hot Chili Peppers
Coldplay
PJ Harvey
Foo Fighters
David Gray
Underworld
Queens of the Stone Age
The Coral
Ash

I've never been to a festival before, which is a bit pathetic bearing in mind I'm nearly 22. However, I'm pretty determined to go this year.

Anyone else here going?

RHCP and QOTSA will be my highlights.

I'm considering going.

I prefer one band gigs. For every group you like, there'll be another you hate. I would go to V, but I'm seeing 2 of my favourite bands in the next month, so I'm happy.

I was at Woodstock and played guitar with Hendrix. Man I was good, though he was mediocre and spoilt the impact of my performance. That's what started the riot.

I went to Reading in 90/91.

It was rubbish and I soiled my tent.

I went to Glastobury the year the Stone Roses split up. I think it was 1995. Those were the days! Jumping the fence WAS possible and there were numerous tree-hugging, pike-dwelling, soap-dodging hippies.

Reading and Glastonbury?

If you like mud and drugs, then go for it, otherwise, it's probably better to stick to CDs...

Well, it's the closest I get to a festival, living in Braintree...
