pancake t0ssers that is : )

What will be filling your pancakes this year.
Surely some people must be having something a little more interesting that sugar and lemon, and the odd splash of golden syrup.

Anyone got any good savoury combinations?

and is anyone keeping in the tradition of pancake day and giving something up for lent?

If I stuff myself with whatever's in the cupboard, it would be custard powder and old pasta ribbons.

It's actually the tradition of Shrove Tuesday and the idea is to stuff yourself silly with whatever you have left in the cupboards before Lent starts on Ash Wednesday.

just been to the shops, and it will be crispy bacon, mushroom and tomato pancakes to start, and some sort of cherries in syrupy sauce for dessert.

Could really do with some vanilla icecream to go with that, now I think about it

I totally forgot about the pancakes. All i had was a boring bowl of cereal and some toast.

Man, oh man. I'll have to get my mum to cook a few up later...

If I go into Uni this afternoon I won't be home until about ten and won't get any pancakes :(
