Is it just me? Hmm, probably is.

But I get so scared less when I walk around at night/late afternoon I don't just mean wander around. If I go places, I get really scared that someone is gonna come up behind me and grab my bag or pull me into a bush and do horrible stuff.

I look friggin paranoid and stupid constantly looking around. It shows real bad.

Do I have a right to feel like this because of all the crap that goes on?
Does anyone else feel like this? I know most of ye are boys but don't you get at least a *little* worried some weirdo pervert pig prat is gonna jump on you?

Come back 70s.. so we can leave our front doors open again!! 70s/80s? I don't know! Well, I never managed to experience being able to leave your doors open! But it sounds nice.

I'm quite scared somtimes. I don't know why big and can look intimidating myself... Probably because I live in an area that can get quite tough sometimes and most of my friends have been mugged here (in Ealing).

It goes to the extreme that with out noticing I looked behind me when I was on holiday walking along a beach with my family. It just becomes implanted within you.

You get these phobias by reading about them then thinking you have them.
Algophobia- Fear of pain.
I mean, everyone's scared of pain really. And then there's ones like
Atomosophobia - Fear of atomic explosions.
Ballistophobia- Fear of missiles or bullets.
Bogyphobia- Fear of bogies or the bogeyman.
Carcinophobia- Fear of cancer.
Defecaloesiophobia- Fear of painful bowels movements.

And the best type of phobia:
Counterphobia- The preference by a phobic for fearful situations

How do you get these phobias?

At the age of 3 do you have to be exposed to a book that tells you you CAN give birth to monsters or something......

Most peculiar.

Agoranoctiphobia - fear of going outside at night.
Just be thankful you don't suffer from Nostophobia - the fear of returning home, or Teratophobia - the fear of giving birth to a monster, or Gelophobia - the fear of laughter, or....

Anyway here is a link to a sight showing basically all the manias/phobias. Some of them are quite disturbing actually.
