Does anyone, ANYONE, like dance/trance music on the forums?

I rekon it's the future, and if you don't get into it now, you'll look sad later.

The next album I want is The Very Best of Euphoria.

The Euphoria albums are a great series, better than Ministry of Sound and CLubbers Guide by far, IMHO.

I like dance/trance.

Clubbers Guide 2003 - awesome album.

Also quite like the recent couple of tracks from DJ Sammy - 'Heaven' and 'Boys of Summer'. Neither are original songs, granted - but I liked both of the originals and I love what he's done with them too.

I like music that means something too, but what's wrong with liking music that means nothing, but makes you feel good and want to tap your feet?

Fair.

But go to the website I posted below, and listen to some of those tracks.

I know it's not trance, I didn't say it was, I heard the song while listening to the Lockup when they had a lot of the electronically made music on that show. That was one of the songs I heard and it ruled... :D

But anyway, there were some more trancey/dancey style songs I also liked, but I can't remember the songs/artists... I've got the thing on MiniDisc though so when I give it a listen next I'll probably write some artist names down to find some MP3s...

The future? I was listening to trance while you were still wetting nappies and waving rattle sticks in the air for pleasure.

Oh, and that Junior Senior track isn't dance, its pop. And its crap.

Radio 1 don't play any proper dance/trance in the daytime. Once in a while they will, but they'll overplay it so everyone ends up hating it anyway.

It does rule. But its sure has hell not classed as dance/trance! Its more punk if anything.

Anyway, to all those people who say that dance/trance is just boring beats/notes repeated with no tune - you're obviously not listening to the right stuff.

Yes, some of it does indeed suck. But the same can be said of any genre.

If anyone here wants me to post a link to some decent stuff, or do them a CD, then email me: [email protected] (no its not a typo :-) )

Ok, downloading. Done in 53 secs :D

Oh god, that was one of the worst songs I've ever had the misfortune of listening to.

How do you people listen to this mixed, looped crap?

Download some Sepultra, for god's sake. I recommend "Roots Bloody Roots".

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
