WHO WILL WIN
After the popularity of the playstation there is no reason why the public wont go for playstation again but are they fed up of seeing the same old games? Do Sony have the innovations to keep them afloat? So far so good although sales haven't been stunning but the orders are now all over the world starting to pick up and their sequals are all amazing.
Nintendo are back and after the late success of the 64 it looks as if their success could continue on the Gamecube. At the moment in Japan the Gameboy Colour is number 1 ahead of PS2 so the Gameboy advanced will surly smash sales records again. But can Nintendo keep inovating? Can they keep their slightly more adult image on the Gamecube? Yet just remmember the Gamecube is the only actual game console not a multimedia console .
The X box, Microsofts new wonder machine could flop like the Philips CDI or hit the top like the playstation im betting on the latter but... Can Microsoft sell cheap? Can they make games? Are they just creating a new PC? we will have to wait!
So Who will win what do you think?
microsoft are VERY powerfull, and scary.
Gamecube = Class
No contest.
Why ah ah why
1. 16 years of on going comitment to the bussiness
2. Oringal ideas
3. RARE!
4. Simply the greatest games of ALL time, from classics (Mario, Donkey Kong), to new hits which will never die, (Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, WWF NO MERCY)
NINTENDO WILL LIVE FOR... EVER!
What's really somewhat interesting about X-Box is that Microsoft will be competing with itself more often than not. It still has a strong interest in PC gaming, which means that - ala 'Halo' - any original games they'll be bringing to the X-Box will likely appear on PC as well. This, to me, seems to be a conflict, since the very fact constitutes a major part of my reasoning for NOT buying a X-Box. Since the X-Box is essentially a stripped-down PC, porting games from the console to the other is remarkably simple. It's like Microsoft's going to be shooting itself in the foot, IMO.
PS2 have really screwed up but people will still by it, if not for its draft exculding capabilities.
Increasingly people are buying the DC because of its price fall but knowing Sega some how they will not be making profit?
Nintendo continue to rule the roost but have learned that it is important to encourage other parties to develope games on their beastly machines. However as long as the big N continue to provide the best games along with RareWare they have my vote.
X-Box is buried on an island somewhere and to find it there us some sort of logical mark in the sand? Seriously though please could someone name a great PC /Microsoft game that is not already on a console?
I rest my case of heavy paper!
BTW, if anyone for Gameday is out there, a quick change (if I may): I'd rather get Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask for N64, rather than ZOE for the PS2. I've just realized that a)I don't have a PS2 and b)the cousin I was going to give it to as a gift is a jerk. So, yes, Zelda would be nice.
> BTW, what precisely do I do to claim my prize? Just send an empty
> message to them?
