Yet surely, when one of the couple dies, they are only apart for a while, until the other dies. And then the couple is reunited again.
So when you get married, you're saying that you won't see each other again after death. Which kind of puts the whole existence of heaven into doubt, and bearing in mind that marriage is a religious ceremony...

I guess that's where "Armageddon" comes into it. Is the World coming to an end? Maybe, I don't know.
Also, if the World was full of nothing but good people wouldn't we already be in Heaven?

Why not? If they're corrupt, get rid.
If he's all powerful, then he can sort the wheat from the chaff with no problem whatsoever, and deal with them appropriately
