Hi all,
I have a question about updating my pc, and I was wondering if you could give me some help. I wanted to know wether this would work:

do the blocks at the end of the cables have any writing on them? if not then as a general rule the power on switch is orange\white cables, reset switch is blue\white, hdd LED is red\while, power LED is green\white and the front internal speaker is black\red, but this can vary widely on differant cases, see what colour you have and give us a shout bakc.

I know which are which on the motherboard, but not which cables are which coming from the case.

You have to either read the manual (if you don't have one then download it from the motherboard manafacturers site) or most newer motherboard actually have it writen around the pins themselfs, there are loads of differant ways of setting this up.

You know the cables coming from the case that are used for the power light etc, how do you know which are which to plug in to the motherboard?
