In a game where Arsenal were seemingly below par, Super Robert Pires pops up with two goals - the second deep into injury time - to keep the Gooners six points clear of the chasing pack!
Woo-bloody-hoo!
> or 'deep injury time winners'
I think you'll find thats Man U you idiot.
I don't think that the Premiership is a 2 hourse race. Newcastle have a game in hand of Arsenal and play against them next week (I think). If they get 6 points from them 2 games, then the Premiership will be better than ever.
I don't think that Newcastle will win it this year, but they still have a great chance.
> Win that and it's only three.
Indeed - but like I've said elsewhere, I'd rather have them already than have to earn them. There's no guarantee you'll win the game, no matter how likely it seems.

I know we have, but don't know about ManYoo. Newcastle have only lost once at home this season... they're due another defeat! ;-)
> If so there's no way you can rule out Newcastle.
Newcastle won't win the title - not consistent enough away from home, and not good enough in general.
It may be six points, but Man United have a game in hand, against Birmingham midweek.
Win that and it's only three.
You have a way superior goal difference at the moment though...
And don't both Arsenal and Man United have to travel to St James Park?
If so there's no way you can rule out Newcastle.

Says the person whose just tried to correct himself 3 times! ;)

Well, the reports seem to be saying it was stoppage time, but my dad was listening to the radio, and it was apparently they who said that there were three seconds left of the 90 minutes. So who knows? I know I don't care! :-)

Seems I was wrong... it was in normal time - three seconds from the end of the regulation 90 minutes, then there were 3 minutes injury time.
The people on TV said that Newcastle really an't got m uch chance in chasing Arsenal unlike Man utd, Saying its only a 2 horse race. Wouldn't you guys think its 3? *Sniff*
Sorry, off the Subject there.. I haven't seen the goal untill tonight so untill then some tell me what happened?
