In a game where Arsenal were seemingly below par, Super Robert Pires pops up with two goals - the second deep into injury time - to keep the Gooners six points clear of the chasing pack!
Woo-bloody-hoo!
> Newcastle won't win the title - not consistent enough away from home
Done okay at highbury last season ;)
Thier defense has been their downfall away from home this season. Conceding 4 goals at Bolton and 5 at Blackburn was just pathetic. If woodgate can sort that out then there is no way you can rule them out. Thier home record is 2nd only to Arsenal.
> have a great chance.
I dont think they will, there a superb attacking outfit great fun to watch and can score against anyone. Unfortunately defensively they are questionable, alough the signing of Woodgate may help there. They just dont have the depth in there squad to stick the pace with Arsenal and Man U. If Shearer and Bellemy picked up injurys they would create chances but I cant see who would convert them. Where as the big teams like Man U have at least one of Forlan, Van Nistelrooy and Solskjaer waiting on the bench and people Like Giggs and Scholes can also play upfront.

'kin hell you know sniper well if you can understand
"/me remembers DB's wonder goal. "
cause Bergy's had a few wonder goals.
;)
At least we finally got a clean sheet away from home...Hopefully Blanc is permanetly "injured"

I'm sure he means the "turn Dabizas with the most blinding piece of skill ever seen in a football game making him look like a complete idiot then slot the ball home for a goal" technique!

Actually Jeffer's went for goal and it was going off target, but Pires came in to score.
Fulham played well today and Arsenal were quit poor, but as I said it's results that count.
> I think you'll find thats Man U you idiot.
Heh thats quite ironic with a name like yours and I only said it because because people like you come out with stupid one line remarks like that
----
Anyway I wasn't implying anything, it was just a sarcastic remark, im sure wookie knows that. You have good days and bad days, Arsenal didn't play
that well today but they grinded out a result and thats what counts.

Ah, the one with his trademark "tearing off the lower jaw" technique?
