I know you must get this alot on your forum from new pc gamers who know **** all about pc's but here goes. Will Half life 2 work with a radeon X300 SE Hyper memory graphics card?

Have you bought it yet? If not, I advise replacing the X300 with the 6800 gfx card. You won't regret it.

It's "up to 3.4GHz" and the minimum available is 2.8GHz so even at that you'd be fine. As standard the RAM appears to be 512mb.

Okay: you're okay on the CPU/RAM front, it's just the graphics card that's a bit weak. You'll be able to run HL2 as we said earlier, but don't expect it to look as pretty as it does in the screenshots you see on the web.

I am guessing the 400 is RAM speed.
Plus he apparently has dual channel DDR2, and, again, I'd love to see a P3 that uses DDR2.
Okay, this guy knows nothing. His CPU most definitely isn't 400MHz, because then it would be P2/P3 era, and X300s are PCI-Express only graphics cards.
If you see a P3 mobo with a PCIE slot, give me a shout because I'd love to see that one. Look mate, I'm assuming this is a shop bought PC? If so, give us the model number so we can check the spec ourselves.
