Now, I'm not even going to pretend that I know a great deal about this party, who recently took their fifth seat after a recount. But reading a little on the BBC, I come across this:

"Among the BNP's policies are "resettlement" of black and Asian people to their lands of ethnic origin."

Now, what sort of sick individual a) bases a political party on that sort of facist agenda and b) actually goes out and votes for the sick fools?

Surely people who vote for such a party are immediately racist, and the entire towns harbouring such individuals should be shut off and sifted through like gutter scum.

I just can't believe this.

Apologies if I took the simpletons standpoint, but that's just how you come across. And I'm actually from Germany.

Maybe, and maybe not. I've had cause to have my mental stability brought into question, but the fact of the matter is, it's actually just an internet handle, and nothing more. If you're too blind to see that, the failing is yours, not mine.

Sure, I'll open my "ayes" be they whatever they are, and who do I see taking it over? Capitalism perhaps? "Big evil corporations" maybe? Get a life you misguided buffoon. People in this country have their own minds, and make their own choices. If they choose to be seduced by sensationalism, then fine.

What am I doing to stop it?

More than most on these forums probably. I send e-mails to places like the Firefighters union and the Labour party. My voice getting somewhere in that instance perhaps only because I have a cousin in the home office, but I send them regardless. My views get heard by the people who need to hear it. Maybe they disregard it, maybe it's taken into account. At least I make the effort, which the majority of lazy pontificating swine who rant and rave about their civil unrest and their high petrol tax cannot claim.

I haven't, but my uncle has. He had a diseased kidney, and they could have sorted it in time, but the operation kept getting put back. So much so that he nearly died. Now his p!ss goes into a bag.

I'm not saying that we should help people. I merely think that trying to help on a large number of fronts at once, is less effective than helping on a smaller number of fronts.

Say, for ease of figures, the government has a budget of £1 billion. Out of this they pay NHS, education, police, transport, asylum seekers and foreign aid (things like food, health to poor countries etc).

That 1 Billion needs to be divded 6 ways, which means that each thing only gets around 160 million. This amount may well be enough to keep things ticking along, but isn't enough to improve things.

Now, say that, for 2 years, the government only concentrated on 3 of the things on that list. Then each would get 320 million, for two years. This may then be enough to make the improvements required.

I know that I haven;t explained that too well, but hopefully you get my drift?

A lot of problems in society are down to the Thatcher years in power

It's all her fault and the ****ing idiots that kept voting them in AND it's their fault that the Labour party had to abondon Socialism to get elected.

It's true, I'm right

So you're a student. What vital operations have YOU had delayed recently?

As for your morals, if you're prepared to let millions of people die around the world without even trying to help, just so you can have a payrise for your firefighters, shorter waiting lists for tonsel operations and a penny off income tax, I have every right to bring your morality into question.

Ummm, yeah, I can go private what with me being a student and all. Nice one.

As for my morals, I have no problems with them, who are you to criticise them?

Why complain so much about the NHS?

If you think it's such a problem, go private. It's not like it's massively expensive. In fact, it isn't at all.

If all the people who complained so much about NHS treatment went prvate, life for everyone else would be that much better.

And help everyone here before looking abroad?

That's a fine viewpoint to make, but how many years do you think it will take before the UK doesn't have any pressing issues? It'll never happen. You can shut the doors and inject as much money as you want into the country, and sure, you'll sove some problems, but out of their ashes will rise a dozen more, not least inflation.

And when you say "sort out the UK before anywhere else", what are you really saying?

I live in the UK, and we are one of the best countries in the world, and I'll be DAMNED if I'm going to let any countries take over because we helped them out to give them a decent chance of getting through a couple of years without millions of people dying of starvation and disease?

What a lovely moral person you must be to think in such terms.

No, life isn't tough for us, compared to other countries.

But it's pretty damn pathetic when you consider that we are supposedly one of the top industrialised nations in the world, and people have to wait 6 months for a relatively simply operation. Or have to wait ages because trains can't even run on time.

I have no problems with helping out people and countries less fortunate than us, but I think that we should sort ourselves out first, because then we will be in a better position to help others.

Ungrateful wretch. Don't lecture me on current affairs.
