Wihtout monitor is about £980 :o I could pay loads more for a less powerful dell..
I've decided a 400W one would make it more stable...

Why on earth would you want more than 1GB RAM? Processor is fast enough as it is - get a better case, with a better power supply, and better cooling. Personally, I think you guys spend too much on your rigs, you won't ever notice or use the power you fork out hundreds for :O(((

As for PSUs, it's the quality not quantity that matters. Stable rails are very important.

I know but 400W makes sure it is stable cos im not sure.
It comes with a Alluminium screwless case tho.
Btw i aint that bothered about which mobo i get... as long as it has a AGP slot and all the other essentials.

Its like being in the changing rooms at school again. My ones bigger than your one :)
Bet the majority of these kids only use their pc to surf the net. I use a 400mhz PII to do all my business work on and i havent found anything that i need that doesnt run on it. If .Net runs then im sure it'll handle most stuff.
