I've actually not heard anything about Battle maps right now.

All that has been confirmed is that it will be online with up to 4 players. No tracks or anything confirmed, but yes, hopefully they're better than arenas we've experienced in the past.

It better have the battle mode maps from MK64.

Confirmed 30 tracks. 15 new and 15 from old MK titles, including I think 6 from MK64.

Which kicks ultimate ass.
