If a pupil is arrested for possession of a Class B drug, do the police inform the school?
And what would the school do? If the pupil was not a troublemaker or anything special, would he get expelled or just suspended.
Because it happened to my friend and I'm just wondering what will happen.
Do any of you have experience with this or something like it? Or are there any law students who would know?

about five people got suspended from my college for marijuana possession.
then the principle threatened to bring in a sniffer dog but didn't.

I'm not sure. Someone in my old school got expelled for getting his marijuana out in a science lesson. It was pretty funny as he was high as a kite at the time. Came into the lesson and just started laughing at everything for no reason. But he had a string of offenses before that, and I was surprised he didn't get expelled earlier (my school was kind of lax).
