..why is there no mention of Dinosaurs in the story of creation, or in the whole Bible for that matter?

Precisely. If you look hard enough you'll find what you want to find.

1984 fortells that there will be CCTV everywhere, watching us, for instance.

Stuff like the Bible can be so vague and suddenly they seem to be right, and everybody believes in God again. With a book THAT long, with SO MUCH stuff in there, how hard can it be to find a special code for Hitler's genocidal plans?

I recently had this Bible Code argument with a friend, and ended it by inventing a special code in the book of Job that says 'I am a c**k'.

So simpletons find it easier to swallow that they were manufactured by an impossibly powerful deity, but the idea that we developed from something else is hard to grasp?

Actually, that whole thing was a misquote. The whole "brothers fall in flames" thing wasn't Nostradamus, but someone making up a Nostradamus-esque quote to show how it can be translated several ways. A few years later, sept 11th happens, and someone digs it up and goes "hey, Nostradamus saw sept 11th".

Arthur C Clarke foresaw far more than the Bible ever did, or will do for that matter.

i just want to know if mary and joseph were married, and if they were, why hadn't they had sex yet?

If they were just bf/gf, i think it is so obvious she sh@ged someone else and wanted to get out of the situation......

I havn't read the bible, I'll admit that... so I also want to know, how/when they knew jesus was this amazing person? And how did they know about "god"? Did god come down from the skies above and like bless the child or something??

Which is why all that Bible Code stuff that Drosnin wrote is a complete load of tosh - he uses modern translations of the bible to work things out from - hello, the different translations have different words etc so how the hell can there be anyhing in them - Drosnin is a fool.

The story goes that both Mary And Elizabeth became pregnant at the same time. Elizabeth and her husband were childless and Elizabeth had passed menopause, so it should have been impossible for her to bare children. She and her husband were vistied by an angel who told them that they would have a child.

At a similar time Mary had just got engaged to Joseph, when she was visited by another angel. This angel told her that she was pregnant with the lords child, even though she was a virgin.

When Joseph found out that she was pregnant he asumed the worse and was going to ditch her, but an angel visted him to and told him that mary was still a virgin carrying the lords child.

As I said, thats the story anyway.
