..why is there no mention of Dinosaurs in the story of creation, or in the whole Bible for that matter?

Yep.
It never occurred to humans that they could have been anything else.
If you think about it, evolutionary devellopments were slow over several generations - they wouldn't have noticed any real progress.
The fact that something just made them out of magic is much easier for a simple mind to understand than going into evolution etc...

two things:
1) I said I coulnd't care les weater julius ceaser existad or not, it has very little bearing upon my life
2) christmas Is a celabration that oridgially belonged to the romans in celebration of the 're-birth' of the sun (the re-birth representing the longer days) but then the christians adjusted it to celebrate the 're-birth' of jesus.
and I couldn't care HOW christmas oridginated, It is a celabration of giving to me.
