I am sad (in both respects)

Uni have said they won't let me play WoW, and I don't really want to run the risk of using sneaky methods, as I kinda need my internet connection.

So, I can't play my favourite game, the title that has simply been the greatest thing I've ever laid my hands on for the past year (well, one of the greatest things...).

So yeah, I will be able to play it at home, so it's not like I'm totally losing WoW, but, for this year at least, I can't do something that I, in all honesty, love. Call me sad, but WoW really is that good.

To ease my pain, I have ordered Morrowind; GOTY, my old RPG fix before I got WoW. But still...

Oh well, off to get trolleyed (no, not to drown my sorrows)

I'm cancelling my subscription next month because I don't like this game.

I’m in a sort of similar predicament as you Cyclone. I’m actually having to cancel my subscription for the game because, for the past couple of weeks it’s been unplayable. I’ve been struck down with the same latency problem as hundreds (possibly thousands) of other players, and it’s so severe that I can’t even solo grind. And what really gets me about this is Blizzards, quite frankly pi$$ take of a tech support team that has failed to address this problem or offer much support to those effected.

I’m only temporarily giving my subscription up though, I’ll renew as soon as Blizzard gets it’s head out of it’s ass and actually fixes this problem (which has been going on for over a month now), but still, giving up a game I’ve played for over eight months, it just doesn’t feel right.

Ah, download some mods if you can to extend the lifespan even more.

I was going to suggest some other Xbox RPGs. :P
